WHY DO WE HAVE SMALL GROUPS AT MNU?

At MNU, we think small groups are important to helping students take their next faithful step toward God.  No matter if you’re just beginning to explore the Christian faith or if you’ve been walking with God for a long time, we need other Christians!  Small groups provide a space where you can join with others who are asking similar questions and who can walk the Christian journey alongside you.

At MNU, our small groups are led by students, faculty, and staff.  To be a small group leader at MNU, you don’t have to be a Ministry Major or have a lot of experience leading a small group in the past.

To be a small group leader at MNU means that you are willing and able to help care for and disciple the students in your group.  Being willing to lead in prayer, nurture their faith, and assist them in wrestling with their questions are all a part of serving as a small group leader.

If you are a follower of Jesus and willing to help host a conversation with your peers about Jesus, we would love to have you join us at our small group leadership training.

If you are interested in leading a group, please click on the link below to sign up for the training.  The last day to sign up for our training is on Monday, September 1st.

This training does not commit you to leading a group, but only students who have completed the training can lead a small group for Spiritual Formation Credit.
