WORSHIP TEAMS AT MNU
At MNU, all of our Chapel Worship Teams are led by our students. Each semester, the Spiritual Life Office selects 6 to 8 worship team leaders who partner with our Assistant Chaplain for Worship Arts, Rev. Andy Cook, in hosting tryouts. Students who play instruments, sing, and are willing to help lead our community through volunteering their time are welcome to try out.
A DIVERSITY IN WORSHIP IN SONG
MNU gathers students from all over the country and from more than a dozen countries around the world. With this in mind, our worship teams aim at leading music in a variety of different styles that include songs in both English and Spanish, a more “gospel” oriented style of music, songs sung by choirs and music you can hear on Christian radio. Our conviction is that God shapes us as we sing together that we know and love and songs that are new and sometimes challenging, all with the hopes that we can faithfully acknowledge God’s desire to known by all people.
